Delicious Breakfast

Waffle Recipe

1 cup white flour
1 cup wheat flour
1 tbsp agave
4 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 eggs
1¾ cup milk (skim, almond, or soy)
½ cup canola oil
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined
  2. Add wet ingredients and whisk until smooth
  3. Spray waffle iron lightly with cooking spray
  4. Pour onto a hot waffle iron
  5. Serve with toppings of your choice

Next time I am thinking of adding almond and mashed banana into the waffle. If I do, I will share the results. I keep it simple and top it with honey, peanut butter, or a little whipped topping.
