Vacation was amazing. My husband and I took a road trip down to Florida and spent over a week enjoying time with each other and some friends we were able to meet there. We hope to move to Florida next year, upon my graduation. We fell in love with the area and the people. It was a wonderful trip. We were able to just relax and get away from all our stresses. We made the decision to just let everything go and have fun. He is a great travel partner. I did miss our puppy though so I gave her lots of hugs and cuddles when we got home.
During our vacation my husband and I discussed health and fitness. Previously, we planned to do P90X together and started but soon after stopped because my work/school schedule did not allow for us to continue as scheduled. We have altered our grocery shopping list and idea of physical activity. We had to re-prioritize things in our lives. We have decided that us being active is a priority and we are committing to 1 hr/day or physical activity allowing for 1-2 rest days a week. That gives us some flexibility on exactly what is done and when. Our grocery list for this week will be as followed, along with some pantry staples we already have such as some canned vegetable, brown rice, and whole grain pasta. I will be sharing some recipes with you all and my opinion on them with pictures.
We committed to getting to our goals together by July 4th.
He plans to be under 200 lbs and I plan to be toned and 130 lbs.
